Citrus Slaw

My husband makes the most amazing marinated slaw, but of course it is loaded in sugar.  This variation works for my Whole 30 plan and is tasty too!

The ingredients:

 

  • 1/3 cup Braggs Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 head of Napa cabbage
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 naval orange, juiced

Rough chop your vegetables. Add all ingredients to large bowl and toss well.

   

Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.  

  
This slaw keeps well for up to five days in an airtight container, refrigerated. Enjoy!
